The route starts in Miraflores de la Sierra and tackles the climb to the Puerto de la Morcuera pass, a 9-10 km ascent with approximately 600 m of elevation gain, constant and gradual. It's a more alpine pass with open spaces. After reaching the summit, the route descends to Miraflores de la Sierra to pick up participants from the Canencia option.

From Miraflores begins the climb to the Canencia Pass, an ascent of about 8 km and 360–400 m of elevation gain, with a narrower road, little traffic and a very forested environment with continuous shade.

Once at the pass, descend to the village of Canencia and retrace your steps, ascending the more demanding and sustained northern slope. After reaching the summit again, make the final descent towards Miraflores de la Sierra.
