The route passes through Cantoblanco, Tres Cantos, and Colmenar Viejo, all towns with commuter rail stations, allowing you to adapt the route or return by train. Colmenar Viejo, with a great livestock tradition and an interesting historic center, is one of the most representative municipalities of the Sierra de Madrid. We will approach the Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady, one of the most emblematic monuments of the town and considered one of the most important churches of late Gothic Madrid, standing out for its impressive tower and its magnificent portal, where we will make a brief stop to rest and replenish our energy before starting the return journey. The return journey will follow the same route back to Casa de Campo.
